Long Time No See
Hey ya’ll, It’s been a while since I’ve written and a lot of crazy stuff has happened. Edgar and Yanela were baptized last Saturday. It was a very sweet moment. They both have great testimonies of this true church. Literally right after the baptisms I hopped on a bus to Guayaquil. I spent 2 days there and then they sent me to las Galápagos, if Mom hasn’t already told everyone, haha. But I’m just finishing up my first week here and it’s been awesome. 8B AF Shipley 2020
I was privileged to coach one of the 8th grade football teams for American Fork this year. It was a lot of fun and we did some good things. A lot of new boys. Many of them played for their first time. Of course it was fun to have 2 of my sons on the team. Brigg (#9) and Spencer (#13) did a great job.

Pass Canyon Abandoned Mines
Pass Canyon, Utah – Near Fool Creek Flats. This past weekend me and my boys went on little adventure. When I was 17 my best friend, cousin and cousins friend went adventuring. We discovered some old mines in Pass Canyon. 35 years later I ventured out with my 17, 13, and 12 year old boys and we visited the same mines.

Pinewood Derby
So I just complete building my 3rd sons’ second pinewood derby. This makes a total of 6 we have built as a family. After watching YouTube “how to” videos we (I) determined that this is the one we would pattern our strategy after. Easy Pinewood Derby We followed it pretty closely. Spencer polished the nails with the help of our Dremo tool. He painted the car. I drilled a hole in the back for weights. We were short a couple of OZ.s day of the race so we glued them on top of the car. We didn’t worry about streamlining the car at all. According to the video this factors…
